Old Edge Magazines

Hi I have approx 20-30 old Edge magazines dating from around late nineties, to early 00's, and the occasional special edition like the 10th aniversary (only 1 of the 10 covers though

What I was going to do was guillotine them and scan them, OCR PDF them and bin them.

Wondering if these actually have any value as an intact hardcopy before I actually destroy them?

Thoughts? Pancake?

I hard a large collection of Edge magazines. I put them the bin, where they deserve to be.

What's the point of scanning them all, you ever going to read them again?

Well it's no effort and would be kinda 'handy' I guess. I'm a bit of a hoarder.

I had 1-100 and sold them on the bay last year for £250.

I've got a whole bunch of other magazines, probably about 10 metres worth or so, PC Zone from 94 to 99, loads of the early 'web/internet' magazines, A good collection of Maxim and FHM etc... I think people would be interested in seeing these perhaps? Problem is they are so heavy.

Certain issues of FHM fetch money, i think that is the same for every kind of regularly published media like magazines, comics etc
