Old fractures and breaks.

My foot still plays up, 6 years after I ruptured my achilles and tore tore some tendons it while playing football.
If i sit in one position too long my shoulder seizes up, thats an old accident I had when I was 9 when I had an accident with a car when I was out on my pushbike.

I've broken my left leg twice, my right leg three times, fractured most of my ribs on various occations, broken both collar bones (Left one twice), my right wrist twice (but never my left ), cracked a lumber vertibra (L4) and my nose and my fingers go off at all angles thanks to 25 years of competative Rugby Union from county age group onwards :(

I can tell winter is coming because I begin to walk like a bent over 105 year old. I've found the only options are grin and bare it, ibuprofen or Rum. I favour option 3 ;)

My knee aches every single day! Twice as bad when it is cold. Do you have any idea how long the winter lasts in this country?

This is a bit worrying as I broke one cheek bone 3 years ago and the other cheek bone 4 weeks ago just got over having a plate put in that side.

Did you have a plate put in? worst case scenario it could be the plate playing up.

Whatever case if you are experiencing a lot of pain I would suggest doctors. As no one here will be able to gauge the pain you are having and any sensible option would lead you back to the surgeon that you saw originally.

I have had strong impacts on the side that I broke 3 years ago and not had the pain you describe.

lucky, I do have a plate but its above my eye, this causes no problems.

Seeing the original surgeon may be hard. My case was being reviewed 3weeks later, while I was on holiday, long story short had the operation in York hospital.

You should be able to get hold of an outpatient appointment through your gp

I would suggest this if the pain is as you say and they can then evaluate and determine of anything is wrong there are risks involved which can occur after time that my surgeon went through with me I can type them out as I still have the form but not on a forum as it is not the place pm me if u want but obviously I will not be able to diagnose u just repeat the points I had explained in my second surgery the other week.
