old game - EPIC...

I think it was called Epic... started with a god like being looking at the universe in his hand. then you trained troops, the long you trained the better they became and tried to go conqure planets and learn technology - had some fun music when played...

I think it was called EPIC, but maybe wrong, wonder if this game is on the PC or anything like it?

Only EPIC I can think of was that sorta Wing Commander(ish) game for the PC/Amiga.

Decent game, with a rather impressive 3d intro (for its time)

Cant think of the one ure on about :/

Think it was called: Supremacy had it on both the Amiga + C64. Amiga was the best version. Publisher was Virgin.

Very good game but still inferior to both Millenium2.2 + Deuterous on the Amiga ***!!

Deuterous on the Amiga

now that was a good game... still trying to find a good game like this on the PC, something where graphics are ok, but not great, but the game play is fantastic and keeps you coming back.. oly game i had like that was STARS, and i think im the only person in the UK to play it lol... Guess text based spaces games, think EVE as a RTS, are hard to come by now everyone wants relalife 3D graphics...

o well.... wonder how much a amiga sells for lol.

Think the game i was after was supremecy too... TY for that, EPIC was the big hyped up game that after loading 12 floddy discs, wasnt that great

I have an Amiga 1200 tower. Cost about £30 for the Amiga 1200 and then £100 for the tower and bits (hard-drive connectors, etc.) and around another £30 for the 030 Accelerator with 8MB (yes 8MB!!!) of RAM.

Plays Deuteros, Millenium 2.2, SWoS, Dungeon Master and many others perfectly!
