Ive had this buzzing around my head for a few days and i cant for the life of me think what this game was called or how to properly describe it. Someone here may remember the name of it and stop me from going insane!!
Now this may be a little vague but here goes - There was like a futuristic hovercraft type vehicle that you used to collect/sort of mine ore off the beach or from destroyed vehicles, which could then be used for various different things, like i said a little vague i know. You could control different aircraft, but from a 3d perspective including if i remember right from within the craft as well as third person views, and you could command the rest of your vehicles to do various tasks, but it was not a command and conquer game as such.
I know that may be a long shot but i used to play it somewhere around 2000 - 2006 time frame and just cant think what its called!

Warzone 2100 is a good laugh and is freeware now so fill ya boots
