Old games you'd like to play again but...

Yeah Destruction Derby for me too, I keep hoping i'll fall on a PS1 copy in a charity shop.

My Transport Tycoon Deluxe still works so I'm fine with that.

Carmageddon 2

bloodwych on the spectrum. Black and yellow graphics and yet my memory of the game is of exploring catacombs and discovering mithral swords etc.

Very fond memory of myself and my brother completing the game and loving it.

Play skyrim now and clearly things have moved on which is often my feeling when I try and play older games.

Oddworld

Baldurs Gate, finally bought a copy off MM a while back and played it once, NWN, skyrim and dragon age (origins/awakening!) have made it impossible for me to enjoy it anymore :(

Snatcher, on the Mega CD. Made by Hideo Kojima, it was absolutely awesome, and I'd love to play it again. It was like MGS in a way as it often had long cut scenes to tell the story.

Kingpin, such great memories of this. Classic! probably Scarface as well although its not that old. May give it a go again soon, loved this game.

I still try to play over old games when I have the chance(I still have a Old build which has a couple of VM's running) the only one I'm missing is System Shock and that's because I borrowed it of a mate back in the day who has since lost it :(

I have only just got into PC gaming in the last 2 years so I don't really know any of the older games apart from Chips Challenge which I loved on our old 486 back in the day but Id love to play Cannon Fodder from the SNES again but this time it could be one of those greenlight games on Steam.

Not sure how the PC version compares but you can still buy it.

Combat lynx is still cool, used to play the amstrad version a fair bit, the sheer will to succeed wins the day.

Saying that, there's a few spectrum classics i dair not soil the memory. Chosen few would be the likes of bounder, scuba dive, the monty mole series.

Probaly a few 3do games i found great at the time id avoid too... return fire, and the amazing star fighter 3k.

I don't think you'll recreate that same first time experience with any game, though they can still be very worthwhile. You may just find that you notice different things about them that you didn't pick up on before, or that you've simply forgotten something about the game.
