Old men and their noisy motorbikes

Same problem here but its young kids.

In winter they stop,. but as soon as temps hit high teens they out almost every day, and at the quiet hours, so usually during night time e.g. 2am or very late evening when traffic dies down.

The bikes themselves at normal revs would be ok, but they stop outside my house and keep revving for few mins before moving on. They keep stopping also every 20 seconds or so to keep revving then moving on again, they do this for hours sometimes just going round in circles to annoy the neighborhood.

Erm….. if 40 is old then I should be dead and buried!! They are enjoying themselves let them. Just because you don’t have hobbies doesn’t people other people should stop theirs.

If they're that concerned about being safe then why don't they all dress in hi viz and stick to speed limits?
In fact last time I checked, all bikes legally have to be fitted with a device to alert others to your presence when required. It's called a horn.
T shirt and open face lid is where it's at yo. And when's the last time anyone took any notice of a car horn, let alone the pathetic 'toot toot' ones on a bike.

If it's causing a quality of life issue for others then, yes, changes should be done e.g. giving them somewhere to take their bikes where noise won't be an issue. Near me there is a big field which they regularly use in the middle of nowhere so they get no complaints and they are left alone.

Excessive and continued Antisocial noise is a well established cause of health issues.

You could ride with a flashing beacon attached to your head, you'd still get pulled out on.

can someone make a thread about taxi drivers blasting the horn to alert a customer they are waiting outside, even during times kids should be asleep

Oh I see what you did you made a new thread about something similar to another thread already made, you did this for comedic value, hahaha that is so original and has never been done before I wonder why nobody else thought of this
