Old monitor worth keeping for any reason ?

I used to use borderless window with some games but since I now use FreeSync, it works a lot better in fullscreen mode. Waiting a few seconds to switch to windowed mode and alt-tab whilst searching for a game, then doing the reverse afterwards is certainly annoying.

I never even considered that as being an issue... well, one to bear in mind, cheers for the heads up

There's also a reasonable FPS difference in most games I've played recently when using fullscreen mode, which is another factor to consider.

im now thinking of going dual monitors

My current Acer Predator 144HZ has to use DP to get the 144HZ, can i assume if i use my 10 year old Dell 22" running on a lower res wont be a problem?
