or In "HKLM\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies" add DWORD key named "SedonaDisable" and set its value to 2.
I did that once, it gave me the old control panel but I could not select 8x/16x CSAA and it still crashed when changing something in a game profile

hmm tired nv tray tools and if i set it to classic the control panel dissapears even when not open there is no way to get to it and the regesty hack the last step isnt there on mine using 158.24 WHQL

Odd as it works for me - i've just switched back and forth between classic and new a couple of times and it still works although me and a few others seem to have the same problem as dutch guy with it crashing when trying to set app profiles but that works ok if you switch to the new panel.

You are clicking the additional properties button at the bottom of the dialog box ? NV changed the way the classic control panel popped up a while back and you now have to click that button to get settings page to "fly out" at the side like it used to do by default

thanks snowdog i have done everything in there and it comes up rundll error on bootup i have completely lost the nvidia control panel and cant get to it via the adapter properties
