Old Old games

Please people those games came out only yesterday. If you want old then I played this on my 1980's Amstrad 086 with dual 5.25" disk drives

A twenty year old game thats never been beaten for its gritty realism and harsh social commentary, the ultimate beat em up

I bring you in its original glory at its full res of 320x200

I loved Double dragon in the arcades, favourite was Golden Axe though. The one game that really does stick with me (Apart from Elite on the Speccy) was Wacky Waiters on the Vic20, absouluty loved the game, also had the Gorf cartridge for it, class!

Those were very similar games actually, Terminal Velocity was awesome, had so much fun with that! Syndicate and Double Dragon were both fantastic too, had both on my amiga 500

Nah, Hi-Octane was the king!!! Although I remember installing it on a newer computer and for some reason it went nuts; not sure if it was something to do with the tech at the time, but the entire game seemed to double or treble in speed!

Im only 18 so im not very old school. But you gota love theme hospital and theme park :).

Personaly though i think you guys have to agree, if you want to play old school games go get your N64 out right now. You cannot beat the line up on that consol for old school. If you dont own an N64 well... go hang your head in shame!

On the first track i could do a lap in 6 seconds on a 266mmx machine!
It would just crash now i think. DosBox plays it nicely :)

Battle Isle, and the spin off History Line 1914-18. Old skool turn based strategy as it should be. Apparently you can download these for nowt.

edit: Oh, and Harpoon. If you get it to work this was a brilliant game. Don't need fancy graphics.

Don't remember much of it tbh, remember it was fast and fun though!

lol I sure as hell remember "Tiny". I remember upgrading from a 386 to a 486 and being told by a guy from Tiny how "intense" I would find the jump, lol. I'm not sure if I did or not... although in those days the "test" was to see how smoothly the cards in solitaire would fan out once you'd completed a deck!

The Gateway 2000 was about as elite as it got at one point. I could actually run ski free...
