Well i broke the mondeo :( Has served me well and cost not a lot to run but i bored silly of it and even jazzing it up never cured my hatred for it .

So the back story is i was late for work and approached a roundabout with oap/truck/me truck went as road was clear . i followed truck oap stopped for no reason . Truck stopped and i tried but wet roads and maybe abit close . I swerved but caught the back quarter of the truck writing off my car .

Oap caused the accident but i was at fault for being to close .

Pics for those that love to seen mangled metal

Damage aint to bad but on a cheap car the insurance company wrote it off over the phone .

So was left with looking for a car . I only really commute to work and maybe the odd run to my parents . But i needed summit fun . Nearly 2 years in the Mondeo had destroyed any enjoyment from driving i had so my dad suggested a rather left field option and i started to read up and look for the right car .

I had looked at loads of cars and really wanted a rearwheel drive car again but decided to look closer at these and the more i read the more it grew on me .

So just as the worst of the snow hit i bought this 200 + miles away and i have been busy fettling and driving this .

Not everyone will like it and at 44 maybe a weird choice but here it is

Cant seem to link any more pics as flikr is playing up . Its a Primera P11 GT 2.0 with a few nice mods (and a few not so nice mods ) which are getting removed as i get round to them .

Plans are just to make it reliable and fuss free with the odd bit of bling ;)

These sound great when they come 'on cam'. My brother-in-law lent me his a while back when my car was being fixed. It was a bit slow compared to my EP3, but it drove and handled well and was quite comfortable. Surprisingly good on fuel too. Poor thing is nearing the end of its days now though.

Looks slightly odd without the spoiler, but in a way you're better of without it as they either leak into the boot, cause the surrounding metalwork to rust or both.

Seems like a solid choice of banger to me.

These are supposed to be a good car.

Suspension tuned on the DAS NURBURGRING.

Engine bombproof and revvy.

n1 n1.

I hope there is a better looking OEM wheel because otherwise that's not as bad looking as the rest of the forum will tell you

Sorry what? The only person at fault here is you, not only in your driving ability but in you car choices to :p

It pains me to say it though, but these Primera's are ridiculously reliable

OAP stopped on an empty roundabout . but i did say i was at fault :/

It needs de chaving a little i agree and doing that but its a clean cheap fun car . some decent mods and for fwd handles quite well .
