Old ps2s?

Is it possible to buy the old shape ones brand new any more? I wouldn't have thought so.

Aye, if you can then it would be old stock probably collecting dust in the back of a warehouse somewhere.

Stick a note on the wanted section of the MM, might be someone on here with a new/nearly new one to get rid of.

Also big river has a market place that does used and new too ;)

I prefer the old one as it has a drawer loading DVD drive...the family PS2 is still plodding along, though it has needed to have its drive fiddled with a few times over the years as its stopped reading games and such :(

I've had mine since PS2 launch day and it's only recently started to struggle a little. I suspect that it's gotten a little dusty inside, as it was failing to read a game that only had a minor scratch on it. A CD Drive cleaner seemed to do the trick, but I suspect it's still pretty dusty inside. I sometimes notice DVD loss of lip sync on some films, but I think that was an old Sony DVD bug as the first DVD player I ever bought had it too.
