Okay this has been doing my head in I can get it up and running but when I use my old virgin media WNR2000 as a wired network switch I don't get my full download speed of 126mb I get 80-90mb down.

Am using the vm superhub downstairs and running a cat cable from it upstairs to my pc/network switch.

Right so In the superhub I can leave it at those settings ?

And in the WNR2000 I disable use router as DHCP server

So what should I set the IP's to ? set the switch to 192.168.1.100 ? surely they don't conflict because the superhub is 192.168.0 and the switch is 192.168.1 ?
any help greatly appreciated

Doesn't work I only get 90 down instead of 126 ? the WNR 2000 is up to 300mb sec right ?

Think you may have confused the WNR2000 as a Gigabit router. It is only a 10/100Mbit device, not Gigabit so will be limited to around the 100Mbit figure, which you are seeing. The 300Mbit refers to the wireless theoretical maximum speed, of which you will never ever see anywhere near that figure.

You need just one DHCP server on the network. Choose a device to act as DHCP server and it will allocate IP addresses to wired and wireless devices as and when they connect to the network.

Ah so I have a speed limit of 100mb sec on the wnr 2000 ? that would explain my brain headache thanks
