Old Suits

I've given away the last couple to a local charity shop but recently heard of Suited and Booted which focuses specifically on providing suits to vulnerable, unemployed and low income men so they can look smart for interviews and that seems like a worthwhile place to donate to next time I've got a spare suit.

That's good to know. I've got plenty of smarter clothes from my fat phase that could be put to use

Keep away from charity shops if you want to make difference. Find a local homeless shelter and give the suits to them.

As someone mentioned earlier there is a charity called Suited and Booted which give vulnerable people your old suits so they can attend interviews etc. House of Frasier used to be a collection point for them until August last year not sure if they still do it.

The issue for me is that charity shops charge an arm and a leg for clothes these days which I have an issue with given where else is a vulnerable person supposed to get some decent clobber at a price they can afford.

Do they? In the past month i've bought 8/9 shirts at less than £3 each, a suit for a fiver (i put an extra fiver in the collection because it felt like stealing!), 5/6 t shirts for same price as the shirts and a few ties for a quid each.
