Old system uses?

Lol i'm not going to kill it, has more of a use to me working rather than a giant paper weight

What software would i run to make it a NAS? Wouldn't mind turning it into a media centre to be honest.

I've only upgraded the processor from a 1.7Ghz to 2.8Ghz as the processors are around £2 on eBay and it's worth a shot

A giant paper weight could come in handy

You could probably turn it into a htpc by throwing in a £30 gpu.

If they're that cheap i might get one to stick in my parents pile of junk xD

Fill it up with bricks and use it as a low powered storage heater.

Other uses, old retro gaming/mame machine.

I would go for HTPC or something I think if I could find some more RAM on the cheap and put it all inside a small case.

You could use your existing windows xp licence and make it into a HTPC, NAS and Torrent downloader.

You also could possibly run a VM on it to play with.
