Old Topgear.

The legend :D That man's voice is seared in my mind after the endless hours of "Welcome to RAC World Rally Championship" I played way back in yesteryear :) Loved that game and the RS Cosworth.

heh, to this day whenever i'm being a bit spirited on a country lane I get Tony Mason seductively yelling "Hard Right" from the back of my mind

Bring back William Woollard - now that's OLD Top Gear :D

I have an episode on VHS, somewhere in the loft where Chris Goffey reviews one of the last versions of Zastava Koral (facelifted Yugo 45) before factory vanished in balkan war. During that review he continously produce one brillliant one liner after another judging the car on "rather spacious side pockets", "good quality, old style thick plastic instead of soft touch materials so many manufacturers use these days" and "easy to clean seats with joyfull zigzag pattern". And it's not like it was deep eighties or anything - he was reviewing it around the same time Astra F or VW Golf Mk3 was released - it was literally like FSO Polonez vs Lexus.
In the same program a lady in thick glasses was drooling over plastic speed bump strips that "will finally turn suburban streets into safe place for children".

Some time later their co-presenter young Jeremy Clarkson featured the same Yugo 45 in his VHS production as the worst car ever manufactured before blowing it up with a tank.

I don't mind Jason Dawe, and I very much enjoy the used car roadshow, even if he insists on writing on winscreens all the time

Idealy stuff from Jezza's afro days.

You ask, you get ;) Thin Lizzy Jezza & Hyundai Elantra

Coincidentally I watched "new" series 2 episode 1 this morning whilst trying to wake up.

Richard has that one-seater car thing from a recently aired episode in his top 5 worst cars and Jez says that he likes the VW beetle
