Old warhammer books

Guys I'm after some ideas. I really like the warhammer army books.

Before Age of Sigmar came along I was buying one every two months or so. I recently bought some Age of Sigmar literature such as the Stormcast Eternals
army book and the Fireslayers equivalent - only after finding out that GW simply stopped printing the older stuff (8th edition rule set I think it was).

Now these are all well and good but..... the pictures just don't have the same autheticity as the previous era. I find it all a bit computer generated and even the actual writing with its descriptions of armaments and general army information feels a bit lacking.

I want to get my hands on the last generation of army books- primarily the Imperial and Bretonian Armies. I already have Orcs, dwarves and the big compendium book which I adore (cost me £60!).

I'm not a fan of eBay for obvious reasons and there sadly isn't a 'previous editions' section of black library which I think would have been awesome (although perhaps not entirely practical).

Are there any dedicated companies that you guys know of that specialise in the sale of past editions of army books?

You after the codex books for each of the armies? Most companies only stock the up to date versions. You best bet is the 2nd hand area of warhammer forums, eBay and gumtree. I still have a couple, i know i have Chaos still and the Dwarves but you already have that one. I might have another one or two in box that has not been unpacked from the last house move. Or are you talking about Fantasy Novels? This area is something i wish to read myself i have been told there are some very good books. The End of times books are suppose to very good, but they always seen to be expensive to buy when i last looked.

Various Warhammer forums are a good shout. Somewhere like Dakka Dakka has a relatively busy for sales section. Create a thread in there asking for the books you are looking for and you might get some people willing to sell their copies. There is also a subreddit for buying/selling warhammer and 40k stuff so try on there too. I sold my Nids on there last year with no issues at all.

I don't think there are any dedicated companies out there that would sell this sort of thing unfortunately, as said by inflames the main retailers of GW products will usually only stock the latest editions of books/codexes etc.
