Incidentally there are already at least two identical threads, please make use of the search function in future: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17543520

how can people win when they want to post something like this?

a) they post in the old thread and get sarcy "HOLY THREAD REVIVAL BATMAN!" comments

b) they start a new thread and get "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!" comments

what's the right thing to do?

100% the former. The people who come out with the "holy thread revival" comments get chastised by me too :)

In my view there is absoultely nothing wrong with posting in a pre-existing thread, no matter how old it is, provided you have something new to add (in particular, first time posters in that thread, or responding to a question/comment from another poster). I've dug up months old threads in the past which I missed at the time, or remembered and wanted to add a new development to.

Ah, but the previous thread was over a year old.... And as were talking about the oldest games you play the first posts on that thread are no longer pertinent.
:p

Populous 2 (1993) and The Settlers (1993), both on the PC as my Amiga version no longer work. :(

I was also playing the original Theme Park a few months a go.

Which has the better sound out of the Amiga and PC version of Populous 2?
