I was watching the highlights on BBC, when Farah one the 10km, Jupp that finished 2nd - was his legs bleeding? Seemed to be his skin was like splitting or something?

Probably Squark, i can't remember who but someone showed the puncture wounds on their legs from the spikes after one of the races in an interview.

Fast but would've been 8.5 or less with a decent change over. Powell ran quicker a few years ago.

When I first saw her on telly doing shot put, I wasn't sure if it was Men's or Womens!

Had to even google her to confirm she is female... has got 2 kids! She's tested positive for anbolic drugs. Almost a clean game, almost.

She's the only one who made it through to winning a medal I think and then had it stripped but there's at least another half dozen who were excluded from the Games prior to that point for drugs offences. I think that's still better than many years though so it would be nice to think some progress is being made.

A quick search on drugs testing brings up a number of stories about athletes who were excluded and that might well not be all of them.

Always a shame when it happens, it's made worse by it being a (gold) medalist, but i guess it's good to see that they are catching them.
