But he's the best at what he does and it'd take a major **** up on his part to not win. Daley was beaten by the two best divers in that event and had to perform at the top of his game to get the bronze.
Quite interestingly David was 18th yesterday, shows how much can change.

Well done TD, he did fantastically well

To have the medals decided on 12 points out of 550+ after 6 dives shows how hard / close the competition was

I think the judges were a little harsh (by 1/2 - 1pt) on some dives but either way TD did brilliantly (its not his fault the press etc over exagerated his chances)

I liked the fact that he seemed genuinely thrilled to win a Bronze, a stark contrast with the Chinese (who to be fair put in a monster performance that could have claimed Gold on another day).

One thing I did wonder about was there was a couple of random birds in yellow milling about backstage who just seemed to be s******ing together while they were perving at all the divers! :eek:

edit: ^er, the starred out word above is a synonym for laughing, not anything else lol :)
