I bought a digi camera for the gf when i was in dubai 18mnths ago, saved about ~£100, was very impressed with myself and she likewise

. I'am sure there is no sales tax so things are a lot cheaper.

yes, I have cover for £25k of watches, no single item limit and I don't have to speicfy them on the policy

People have their own passions and hobbies, and interests that they like to spend their money on, why criticise this particular practice merely because it is not one in which you indulge in nor are able to fathom. There are people out there who may criticise a large proportion of the population of this forum for spending thousands a year on having the latest hardware.

It depends how much the lucky lucky men on holiday are charging or how well turkeys economy is going tbh.
£10 at most usually.

The gf got me a MG watch off the tv for about £30 few months ago, its well sexy tho, needs adjusting tho. Anything more than that strikes me as plain crazyyy, though thats cos I can think of millions of other things id rather buy.
