I hope that is stable, was it lots of work to get that high or was it easy?

I found that an e6300 @ 3.4GHz can run 32MB Super-PI all day long but as soon as u hit dual prime u get problems (after 1 hour, 2 hours etc not 3 mins 52 secs!!) but it looks like u could have yourself a nice chip there, hope it works out! :)

dual priming as i type ;)

not really too much work had to play with the volts a bit but i would say pretty easy overall

*EDIT* yup you are right :p errors within prime hehe gonna see how it goes overall though

That CNPS9500LED seems to be doing an 'extremely' gOOd job, 44°C full load?

Just noticed your using the Asus P5N-E-SLI, thats the new 650i chipset right?

Let us know any useful info please, like what vCore u have set etc, ta! :)

CPU 1.35
RAM 2.1
NB 1.53
Any idea what the date code of your chip is please? (mine says SL9SA L625A796)

  • Either your CPU is better than mine?
  • Your motherboard is better than mine?
  • Your just a better overclocker than me! :D

Got a feeling mine is gonna max out at a stable 3.3GHz, good luck with the prime!

nice OC there.

what does the 6300 max out with n2o anyway? iv never looked into 6300's

i went streight for a 6600

Well done Chris, you tart :p

Wish mine gets near that, even though my kit is better! Going for the Zalman 9700 hope it fairs off similar!

hehe hey dark ;)

i have the 9500 in an Antec 900 and have it vertical so the big 200MM monster is sucking air through it seems to help cooling the NB and the CPU ;)

Great shot, wanna post at least 1 bench to see how good this is for us with something better than the asus tool, tat or core temp on Orthos would be better.

Try running Orthos with TAT to see you real temps dude.

core temp quotes 66C @ Load but which ones do you believe

I would believe TAT :o

You need to run orthos on blend priority 9 also, 1 is like a screen saver if your doing stuff on the PC at the same time as orthos it wont get stressed as much.
