when i boot my pc for some reason i see a green light on the monitor and there is power but there is no display! It boots up through the bios and when it attempts to get to the operating system its a blank screen.

What could this be? Oh and its onboard graphics.

is this a new build or has it been running before?

has been running before. It's come to me with no display what so ever.

if its been running and now it wont boot.

first, check the bios is recognising the hard drive

if it is try is to see if you can boot in to safe mode (F8 Key) ?

cant boot into safe mode. ive tried another graphics card to no prevail. I'm thinking its a faulty motherboard. It's not the hard disk because i've replaced it with another one (another OS).
