Just on my way to an interview/assessment and thought I would tell the internets

its for a part time job in debenhams since im headin back to uni, the joys!

Any last minute words of advice?

Apply a thin layer of vasaline to your hand to avoid it sticking during the handshake.

I gave it a read last nyte some good advice! just arrived now but gonna have a look about first to get a good impression of the store.

Must be interview day today, because I'm about to go off to one to

Read through Huddys guide so hopefully I'll do alright.

Really would like this job. Company seems like a good one and its only in Brighton so 30 min traveling each way, rather than the 2.5 hours I do now.

Just make sure that when you go in, you stand over your interviewer and take a big deep breath of their hair and tell them you like turtles.

so thats me home now!

was a fairly basic group assessment which involved introducing yourself and also being given an item to sell to the group! i got a pack of pga playin cards! was pretty simple!

then we had the 1 to 1 where they identified myvprevious experience and as they expected i breezed thru the questions! should find out in a week or so!

Anyways just highlighted the official endorsement of the PGA tour etc, how it shows you 52 to of the worlds best courses as you play cards and also how coming up to xmas....yes stores are all about this now, they could be a perfect stocking filler at only £3 lol!

Job done!

As I said should hear back in a week or so but hopefully I should have a few more interviews this week but should be on my way to employment again in the retail sector :rolleyes:

You get commision on some departments i hear but the wages are shocking, so don't fret too much, theres always better jobs
