I3-2100 on a gigabyte Z68 board

For some reason when i boot into windows normally the HDMI signal doesnt appear to get sent to my monitor. If i go into safe mode it works fine so i know the cable and sockets are working. I tried F8 and doing low res vga but that doesnt work either.

Other than re-install of try going back to a system restore point has anyone any ideas whats going on? It used to work fine and i dont recall what i did to "break it "

^As above, remove the current graphics driver in safemode.

Reboot

If it still doesn't work, then install a new graphics driver in Safemode

Which OS are you using?

Windows 7 64bit.

So i removed all the drivers i could find in safe mode, reinstalled the latest intel drivers, which seemed to install ok. Then rebooted and still no display. Tried the low vga option and again nothing. Only get a display in safe mode.

I guess i could try a windows restore point as it worked previously, but then again i would've thought the driver install would fix it.

Remove drivers in safe mode. Reboot and see if the pc works ok with no driver in normal windows.

Don't have multiple screens do you?
