hi guys got an abit nf-m2 nview and i cant seem to work out how to get the onvboard graphics working, i have installwed the drivers and it only finds my 7600gt, ive had a look in the bios and i cant see anyhthing to enable.disable it, am i diong siomthing wrong?

It's enabled by default when no card PCI-E is plugged in. For some reason I couldn't force it to be enabled either, when a PCI-E card is plugged in. Different board though.

I had a board with the same onboard a while back and the only 'option' it had was auto
So basically it switched on when no GFX was plugged in, not very user friendly :(

sure that you are meant to be able to run another card (has to be another nVidia card) for multi monitor.
maybe it has to be a PCI rather than PCI-E?

as of yet there are no matx sli boards other than an evga socket 939 one, it is a serious draw back that nvidia have made automaticly disabling the onboard video card really ****** off about it but i guess itll save me money as i cant by another monitor.

nobody previously mentioned SLI (which doesn't do multi-monitor).
afaik 6100/6150 is meant to support using another nVidia gfx card to run upto 4 monitors - it's certainly not SLI capable.

nope, as soon as the board detects a PCI/AGP/PCI-e card it disables the onboard.

I actually think you can.

I had an Asus AM2 board with onboard VGA, and the BIOS deffo had the option to use both the onboard video and a PCI-E card :)

Yes, lots of them do, but this is an NForce2 board and the only BIOS options appears to be which graphics option to initialise first. You could have PCI, PCIe and on-board, but only the PCI and PCIe would work by the looks of it.

There is probably some perfectly valid reason why in the way the chipset is designed. NForce2Soundstorm has 2 graphics adaptors on-board so it's feasible, it just doesn't look possible with this board.
