I have a gigabyte DS4 motherboard (P965). The onboard intel sata controller has 6 ports. If I connect 3 hard drives to 3 of the ports will the controller be able to serve all the hard drives at once? Eg, if one of the drives is working will the others have to wait?
I remember on the old IDE, if 2 drives were on the same channel, then they would wait for each other to finish.
