Onboard sound or Audigy 2?

Installing a new motherboard tomorrow MSI 965P NEO which ofc has onboard sound. I have been using an audigy2 in my old system and was wondering if i should install the audigy2 in my new PC or use the onboard? i have 2.1 speaker set up.

If you have a sound card its always better to use it as it is soooo much better than onboard, also its one less thing your processor has to worry about

Yeah, I just built a new rig and I used the onboard sound at first (Realtek 7.1) but I noticed some missing sounds in GTA:SA so I installed my Audigy 2 from my old rig and the difference is huge! Even the XP startup music was noticeably clearer
