SO i got a small .MOV file from a person at work, put it on my OneDrive and then came home, and downloaded it to my Download folder.

Now, when I open that folder, its fine...but scroll down to where the .MOV file is, and it crashes all explorer windows that are open, try and click on it, crash, right click on it...crash, you get the idea.

How would I now go about just deleting this..seeing as I cant go anywhere near it!?

Do you have any codec packs installed or anything?

I have a feeling something used to extract thumbnails from the video is causing the crash.

No never bothered, jsut used VLC for everything.

Not sure on the thumbnail thing, I use explorer just in list form.

DEL /P "E:\directory of file\Filename.mov

Obviously substitute my generic names to whatever your directories are called and the name of the file itself.

Im slightly special, was doing just that and forgot to ad the .MOV at the end of the file name...many many thanks its gone....balance in the world once again!
