One From Yesturday

Hey all.

Since it was my day off yesturday, I went to Spurn Point to take some photos. Spurn Point is a very unique place in the British Islands. Three and a half miles long and only fifty metres wide in places. One of the most striking features of Spurn is the black and white lighthouse near to the end of Spurn. Now just an empty shell not used since it was closed down at dawn on the thirty first of October 1986.

Excellent, I really like it

The grasses are maybe a wee bit soft, and the sand in the immediate foreground has fallen OOF - but a shot like this is always a fight with DoF, so they're both minor quibbles really.

Composition is spot on.

Thanks, it was pretty windy too, when i got up of the sand there was a mound where it had blow against me

I like the composition of this shot, and the texture of the sand in the foreground. The colours look really off for me though. It has a pretty bad yellow cast on my monitor, like it's been taken on the wrong white balance setting.
