What's with the sudden surge of Google Video conspiracy documentaries today?

Yet again, it's just conjecture.

Sorry? 'New world order'? Next thing we know you'll be espousing the illuminati.

As you may have guessed already, I have no time for conspiracy theorists.

why having a closed mind? If these people are conspiracy theorists then please tell me who are those who you believe and therefore aren't conspiracy theorists :o. Look at someting from a state of open mindness regardless if you agree with it or not. You can't have an attitude of " I know the truth" because you don't!

Why bother? It's a seen em once- seen em all enigma surrounding these videos. They're full of half information loosely held together.

Why is it that conspiracy theorists always try and change your mind? They're worse than religious preachers.

That cheered me up a lot, and just made this thread a whole lot better! :D

Changing your mind is a great thing if put into the proper context. Our government want us to change our mind and they largely accomplish that by squashing every individualistic view of life with schools and through media. Why resisting to come close to something new that might make you see things different? You can't say they try to change your mind because that implies that they are doing something bad when you are on the good and real side of things. Nobody knows enough on 9/11 to call someone a conspiracy theorist.
They don't change your mind with their videos, they just present a different view point. It's up to you if you want to change your mind they can't do it.

I thought "Loose Change" was quite good - it did bring to light a lot of interesting theories and facts which do seem hard to explain and all a bit suspect.

But as will all of these things you have to take them with a pinch of salt.

Sure.
Many of 9/11 seem quite serious and you can't dismiss all of them as rubbish because you are unwilling to think of things in a new way.

Holy Deja Vu Batman, didn't i just see this in the 7/7 thread, only for it to dissapear and re-appear here :o

Maybe i'm just bored.

But yeah, whats it with the rubbish conspiracy theorists today.

I really, really hope that was sarcasm.

P.S. You might want to check out the Loose Change Guide. I find that far more interesting.

Actually no it wasn't. I found it quite good. You assumed (which is foolish) that I believed every word. I'm open minded - I take nothing as fact. I'm interested in hearing things on both sides. I also find that website you posted interesting. Which do I believe more? Neither really - they are in my mind still very much at a stalemate. I believe that an incident as big as this will always uncover dark secrets or dubious intent - but frankly I can believe that a government would easily kill 1000s of it's people for it's own good, but at the same time I can believe that people are sick and tired enough of the US to want to make a statement like that. I'm not swinging either way on this one - there just isn't enough fact for me to accept either side I'm afraid.

I might have posted in the wrong thread... :p

Oh I agree the conspiracy theory nuts are having a field day - but hey it opens the mind a little to debates, and whilst not necessarily a productive use of time I find it quite interesting looking into such things.

An example of conspiracy theorists wanting you to change your mind, why can't we dismiss them as rubbish? You don't have to change the way you think, just what you think to believe theories set by films like 'loose change'.
