The image(s) depicted in the website linked to in the original post are spectacular (in my opinion). They portray what I can describe as an aesthetically pleasing construction. One has to question whether the funding of such a venture is viable due to the impression of a rather ostentatious design (given by the images).

That's exactly what subject my mate did his dissertation on, specifically on Beijing Opera House http://mysite.verizon.net/vze6md7g/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/beijingopera.jpg. It is a very interesting subject. Trouble is the real atmosphere is never depicted, instead renders are set in some idealic pollution free enviroment.. well that's part of it...
