Late to rise. Late to leave. Drivers around me seeming to have lost the ability to see when the road is empty or felt the need to update Facebook rather than notice the green light. Crash in my local town so got stuck. Rushing for train that is now close to missed.

Get to station 3 mins to spare and get tickets from machine, all trains delayed. Just spent 2 hours driving back towards my house on a train so I can avoid the lorry that hit the bridge that delayed my train. Virgin decided that 1 coffee is enough for anyone and I've now been on a train for 2 hours and have just past the station I started from.

I needed to vent, as you were and for anyone else who is having a worse day I say this...

Haha

Feel better now.

Mornings like that are why I'm glad I moved closer to work and no longer need to rely on public transport.

Now if only we could figure out a way of getting rid of the 90% of people on the road who simply can't drive, life would be better for the rest of us!

I've a home office but sometimes I've to go to That London for meetings n stuff and I let Branson take the strain. I've even got poor people in my first class carriage and that's just not on, one of them has a tabloid! :)

Not as bad but I feel your pain, I got in to Gatwick on red eye flight this morning and only needed to get to Hampton Court area, luggage delays then stuck in traffic and got home only 10 minutes before a colleague on the same flight who lives in Nottingham!

I've just had a cooked breaky and some toast so life isn't all bad and I'm told we should arrive at Euston around 12.30 so only 2 hours late. Home office tomorrow so I hope the wash basket has been moved from outside my bedroom door as I don't need an accident on the way to the coffee and toast machines as that could set me back seconds.

I flew in from abroad yesterday afternoon so I my body clock is all over the shop, what with the timeline differences between Eire and England :)

The thing that annoyed most is how many people come to a roundabout with the ONLY intention of stopping, NOTHING else. It matters little that the entire town is empty or the road hasn't been driven on since the silver jubilee, they are still going to stop and look.

..and the woman on Facebook was not a joke, she was sitting with they ipad on her steering wheel updating her Facebook. I HATE school run mums, the private school run mums even more so with their face lifts and over made up fizogs

I hope your day can't get worse but I have this feeling that we'll be hearing from you again...... :p

I suspect you might be correct, even the coffee was tepid and I had to wait to gain access to the toilet....which then had no hand dryer and a fag burn on the sink. I've had a word with gentleman from somewhere east who served the coffee and a bloke with greasy hair about the toilet. I'm now pulling into That London for a coffee at the Hilton then off to a meeting with .........well that would be telling ;)

And you expect them to care... Why?

Oh, we have plenty of those around here. They're mainly of the female persuasion. They always STOP at roundabouts, mini or otherwise, because they were told to give way to traffic on the roundabout so they have to wait for some traffic to come along so they can give way.

And my commute was terrible this morning. We have the builders in :p
