One of those days - I hate the cat.

So basically, it brought us a little gift last night. (Mouse)

It has managed, somehow, to crawl between some loose skirting and get into our stud wall. >_<

Any advice on how to get it out? We've put down mouse traps, but the bugger isn't coming out.

I am hoping it's not dead, so we can get it out of the house, otherwise we're stuck with the smell and possible maggots/flies :(

Any thoughts?

I've laid down some peanut butter, will try some chocolate as well.

We've only recently had the wall done, the skirting was next on the to do list :'(

Definitely going to get it finished now. God know's where the little blighter has gone though.

pretty sure you want get flys maggots or a smell, from a little mouse

Won't get any smell from a dead, as it's inaccessible to flies to breed on.

It will just dry out, & be mummified, some years ago had a faulty cooker repeatedly tripping out, the cause traced was to two dead rather dried out mice shorting out live to earth.

Im sure this is material for a cartoon.

A cat, dog and a mouse all living under one roof. The cat is constantly trying to capture the mouse and chaos ensues.

I think I'll call it...... Monty and Merlin.

Wonder if Warner Bros would be interested :P

Nice :D

You know the worst thing about your cat bringing in mice.

When one gets in bed with you, I remember waking up to tickling on my leg at like 3am, then became aware it was crawling up my thigh toward my gentlemans sausage.

Leapt out of bed pretty quickly to say the least :D

We had a rat die inside the cavities of our kitchen walls/ceiling

No flies but there was a smell for about a month

gentlemans sausage - actually made me laugh out loud! Bravo

I sat down last night and smelt a was struck by a really wierd smell, after clearing away the side of the couch, I found the corpse.

So Fabreen, Shake and Vac and incense candles were deployed to reduce the smell.

I'm glad it means I can remove the mouse traps now and that it's no longer in the walls.
