I'm not a mackem and yeah my crap qualifications have no focus at all.

So what did you do?

Ok you have a grounding in business, its a management role which you have been doing a while so if you dont have the money in the first instance get some extra managerial qualifications. You can get various stuff about personnel management, health and safety, team management etc etc. This will help you if you are moving into any other management environment.

Then longer term looking at a masters you could take one in business management. You can specialise further in regards to what aspects of business management interests you be it financial, personnel, transportation, whatever really takes your fancy.

If you do wish to go totally away from this to be honest we cant really give you any advice. You need to decide what it is you like and then take the masters in whatever it is that interests you most. I get the feeling you should take something that would be satisfying over monetary gain I get the feeling that is what you are after.

And this time good luck because you arent a mackem :D

 Psychologist maybe?

Unlikely with a 2:2, it tends to be very competitive to get a placement from what I understand and even if you've got good grades and some relevant experience you're not guaranteed a job at the end of it.

Vegeta: if you were to go for a masters then what would you pick to do it in? Do you have the funding as you may not get a funded place?

Wow that's a predicament, and I can see myself being in a very similiar boat in a few years with my useless degree. Monitoring thread...

I have no problem with motivation. I have a full time job I work hard. I comeback home and go to the gym for 2 hours. I can run 10 miles fine some night come home and sleep like I baby. I'm just not content with life doing a OK job I want something better for myself and going into the army doesn't seem better than what I have.

I basically have no idea what to do with my life

That's just energy then, not motivation. Think of motivation as a vector rather than a scalar quantity. It's got to have direction otherwise it's useless.

The army/navy some sort of forces training will GIVE you a direction whether you like that direction or not.

Personally, I'd work out what I want to be doing - and then work out how to achieve it. So work out what job you want to do and then find out what qualifications you need to be doing it. And go get them.

I could be a psychologist but I don't want to lol it's not something I fancy. And to do so i'd have to do a masters (which I could do with a 2:2). Then do a PHD so we're talking another 4 years of study.

Don't like getting lazy, likes responsibility and getting things done.

3 a levels at D
2:2 degree

you sure you are that sort of person? Lol

That was a young me i'm soo very different now honestly. I think it's stupid to ask a 17/18 year old to decide what they want to do at that age. I wish I held off didn't get myself into this debt and go to university now I am motivated trust me I am :)

Yeah I think this is represented in the fact how I did soo bad academically. I just 'went with the flow' and did it on autopilot. It's hard figuring out what I want to do really but I think management is a option, maybe i'll go for every management type qualifications going. Funding would be ok for me I could probably afford it myself but i'm sure my dad would help but I wouldn't want to ask him.

I'm in a similar situation, I'm 24 finished uni about 3 years ago with a not so good degree and been working at Wetherspoon since. Been looking at the RAF possibly as a logistics officer or an IT role.

Have you given any consideration to the police force?

I'm sure your a 2:2 in Psychology would be beneficial in many aspects as a police officer, also your post said you're physically fit, so with enough self motivation and determination you'd pass the probationary period and be set up in a job for life :)
