I didn’t read the article. Did they say how long users would have to wait for these updates? In the past, OP have hot potatoed their phones when they were even a year old, delaying updates for ages.

Otherwise a good commitment but Android makers need to update their game to 4+5, especially with the news that the venerable iPhone 6s is going to receive iOS 15 (on release day).

It's a start that's for sure.

I know OnePlus made a meal out of the 7 series.

When I had the 8 Pro the Android 11 update came out months before other brands handsets. Let's see how quick the 8 Pro get 12 and let's see if its stable.
