i don't get it - they are all the same and equally unpleasing

Well that was wierd...I couldn't really say any of them was more pleasing, but I suppose the one that was split in half was the only one that could be more pleasing than the others.

I'm guessing in one of them the ratio of the sizes of the two boxes is the Golden Ratio or something and we're supposed to find that more pleasing than the others?
