I paid £900 for a 12 month Fully Comp policy on a modified 1998 Astra Mk4 1.4 16V. This was with 1 year NCB, 20 years old and with a fault accident on the policy leading to a claim for £6500 (wrote my Mum's car off at 18)
Without the claim or mods I was quoted £700

i agree burnouts infront or ** 'homeys' is stupid and i once did it on a verry grippy bit of carpark and waved bye bye to my clutch, lol what a tool i was in the first year of driving.
how ever i also did a burn out before every trip down the trip on my day at york and my nova dident break once, and i dident have much trouble with grip despite the monstorous power
