you gotta wonder how someone that can afford a £13K+ car can't afford half decent £100 a corner tyres. When I bought my civic it had those crappy "i've never heard of them before" tyres on front and back, sure enough first sign of a wet road and the car was nervous as hell. You just can't stick tyres made by some guy in his garden shed in yugoslavia on a car with 180bhp. Stuck some BFG's on each corner and woah, what a difference! And no i don't want to start an arguement of which is the best kind of tyre!!!

I always stick on cheap tyres but my car isnt in any danger of being powerfull, I do have an autocar tyre test from last summer if anyone wants

phew, was worried it might be a Sierra or Escort cossie, luckily its only a Focus.

Expensive car, cheapo tyres, bet he had 3rd party insurance also (if any).
