Are the invites being shared on here for a particular phone then or can one be used for any handset you want? (ie. Can some kind sole on here grant me an invite that will give me a chance of being able to get the mini as and when it's released??)

Can buy the older OPO without one, they are still dishing out OP2 invites and I think some of the very early OP2 buyers might have started getting shareable invites.

I wouldn't even bother attempting to get one in their "open sale" if it's anything like i've seen in the past either all the stock will be sold in minutes or their system will fall on it's arse.
 
I had a oneplus one then I moved to a s6 edge because I wanted something smaller with a better display and camera but now I'm very tempted to try and get a oneplus two in the open sale.

the invites are currently time limited i think - something like 24hrs to buy - so no, no good for buying later i'm afraid :(
 
If I were to purchase a Chinese version off eBay, which network would I have to switch over to so that I can get 4G? Currently on O2 but I heard that wouldn't work, but I don't mind changing.

None of the OnePlus 2s support O2 4G (technically the Chinese model supports O2 4G in areas where O2 are using 1800MHz but this is very few areas and will never be as widespread as 800MHz) except the European version.
 
I gave up on this and bought a new G4 for £308 when it came to it- lack of nfc or changeable battery put the nail in the coffin, that and the difficulty getting one & the hassle moving to usb type c...

EE and 3... but it seems O2 has refarmed some band 3 and will be rolling it out... very slowly... very very slowly.

Looking on the OP forum it seems the open sale was a mess, with the system crashing not being able to cope with the sheer amount of people trying to buy the phone. Such fail :p.

In other news, I'm still trying to get mine returned and refunded.

Ordered the 3rd Sept, still waiting for it to despatch on the 14th so I decided to cancel.

Couldn't cancel the order despite it not being shipped, refuse delivery they said. Quick and easy they said. That was this time last month.

I refused the package as suggested now its sat in China with a £60 customs charge from DHL and they won't pay it.

Paypal dispute open. Wish I'd never ordered it. I like my Oneplus One but this is ridiculous. The support really is retarded.

This is the last thing they said, does it sound like they want me to cancel the dispute before they will sort it out or is it more lost in translation / me reading it the wrong way?

Seems a little odd, you cancel the reversal and they refund you, that's what the reversal is for as they have not done it up to now, confuses me.

If they're transferable ones, I would love one :)

I thought the first ones were tied to a specific email though (presumably you need to confirm the sale through the email address etc)

If they're meant to be transferable ones, can you trust me one over? :)
 
As far as I know they are sharable, I will send you one no problem, bear with me as I have never done this trust thing. I think it worked, I sent it to your email address as well, let me know if it works ok.
