*** OnePlus 2 ***

Bummer!
ALready checked 6P/5x/Z5 bit expensive.
I already have an Oppo Find7(QHD, which developped a fault so have to send it back to get a refund from rainforest).
I also found that support from Oneplus is non existing, was waiting on the phone for nearly 40 minutes and on chat for ever and finally got disconnected with out an operator!

Wanted to ask if rooting and custom roms invaliadate warranty and of the charger type - uk or not.

trying to RMA one OP2. this will be fun.

they told me i have to book remote assistance first to try to fix, but there are 0 slots available from now till 12th Jan (no slots on any day, not being picky) rest is greyed out.
will try tomorrow and then might just go to paypal claim. I got in touch at end of dec, no dates available back then, so wrote them hey, this is not good. reply few days later to keep looking for empty slot.

ain't nobody got time for that.

luckily have S6 inbound, but not impressed (not that i expected anything based on previous experience of others over the internet)

LCD stopped working. I restored it, but now it will not boot into OS, just recovery.

plus before that fingerprint scanner taking 3-4 times to register, some touch issues. and it froze on me completely 2-3 times, that i had to soft reset it.

also Chrome was unbelievably slow, but that might be issue with app itself after update. when returning to Chrome it took 5-6 seconds after touch for it to appear on screen.

not something i expect from 3 month old device.

chrome is slow because the a57 cluster shuts down when it's detected running.

fp scanner has been a bit flaky for me at times, but i've been rom hopping a bit and it's much more responsive on oxyslim.

had a sleep of death once but it woke up after a minute or 2, but haven't had any lcd issues, must just be unlucky i guess.

Wouldn't touch the company after my experience with opo
Never had a phone break on me until this phone. And CS is dire.

A CM developer has managed to get both LAF and FP working on Cyanogenmod:
Currently uses the Hydrogen OS kernel so he needs to port it over to the CM kernel, but once that's done there's not really any good reason to stick with Oxygen, which actually has been bugging me a bit recently. Going to wait to see how the Marshmallow update plays out first though.

Nice, i'd been following Garak's earlier CM builds on XDA and saw the thread on the OP forums saying he was close with CM13.

CM13 now supports fingerprints. ROM is pretty much stable. Flashed it over and it's running a lot better than the mess Oxygen OS was.

Thanks, shame it's not out sooner, some reports saying cyanogen OS but why would they move away from oxygen OS they currently use? I hope it is cyanogen.
