OnePlus 5T v Pocophone F1 v Other?

Happy New Year everyone....

Currently I am an iPhone user but looking to pick an Android phone to play around with and dabble with a spot of app design.

I've got my eyes on the Pocophone (£279 on the rain forest) and the OnePlus 5T (£329 with giff gaff)

What would you suggest and why. Or is there another option I should consider?

if you want to save you can get Mi A2. if you can stretch, you can get OP6.
Poco is not bad at all, but the MIUI puts me off big time.

After all that i've gone with the Honor Play. Surprised this wasn't on my radar sooner. Great value.

Nokia 8 it will cost you something like £180 or £220 from the rain forest.

I have a nokia 8 and i think it is good value for what you get, feels like a flagship phones so i know because i had a htc u11 and the nokias resolution is like that in a way roughly.

Honor Play kept dropping WIFI, so had to go back.

Now settled with a OnePlus 6. Its ace.

I shopped in a load of stuff at CEX and got the phone for like £35. It was about £330 in CEX money (which equates to less because they give you more for game trade ins and such).

Very happy with it. Think by next November I will be looking to get the 7, if it comes out.
