Onkyo 606 - Using 'Pure Audio' and a subwoofer?

Hey fellas,
I've got relatively small front channel speakers at the moment. Have an Epos ELS wending its way to me, and I was just wondering if it'll be possible to use the subwoofer during 'pure audio' mode for music, as the quality is decidedly better

Personally find Pure Audio far better, I should think its partly dependant on the speakers in question.

Are there any negatives to using the high level connection, won't impact cinema experience e.t.c? I assume I just connect it to the front channels, as well as the front speakers (rather than run the speakers through the subs amplifier?)

Yeah its got passive zone 2. But I wouldn't have thought it would output zone 2 during Pure Audio?

Yes its got seperate phase, high and low level crossover settings
