Never mind speaker recommendation, invest in a good DAC!
Hi all, thanks for the replies, I've hit a problem though......
The going price for the 608 is around £450, so you can imagine how I jumped when I seen one for sale online forest for £289.99!! When i ordered there were 3 left so was happy to bag one.
Only to be called on Monday to say they had oversold and it was a mistake and carriage should have been added to the final price, they now want an extra £50 "freight" !!! I argued the point it doesn't cost £50 to send an amp from London to Edinburgh (area). A call to the website left me with nothing, because as long as the seller has offered me a refund theres not much I can do.
So, although the extra £50 still makes it cheaper than anywhere else by far it's left a bitter taste. I've to call back on monday when their other stock arrives.
Any thoughts on this and the legal/sale of goods etc? I know I should just get a refund, but it's the chance that I could get this amp pretty cheap. They are selling lots of other items too, so shouldn't be all bad....hmm...

This is where it all started, I was originally considering a DAC between the pc and my amp, but the amp is about 10 years old (JVC) although I like it, it's time for an upgrade, so thought I'd get an all-in;one for now.
