Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a low-cost, of even better, free service.

I was looking to back up a lot of documents or even a whole hard drive online.
I read something about the Google G-Drive... But that seems to be dead in the water.
 
if its not too big.. (under 2gb)

dropbox is great and free

they also do a 50gb service, but you have to pay for that.

there is also ADrive which i think is 50gb for free
 
depends how big your hard drive is, if you need a few 100gb then something like rapidshare would be my suggestion, i have about 200gb of pics and docs etc on there for roughly £50 a year, it also means i don't need to take a hdd with me if i need to access a presentation anywhere, also a lot of places i need to use the files don't have access to USB for security reasons but do have internet connectivity.
