Anyone tried it?
after the bitter demise of my relationship a month ago or so. my sister thought it would be fun to put me on online dating sites, i was up for it so went along.
anyway whilst browsing away i sent a couple of e-mails to a couple of girls who i thought are out my league but thought what the heck.

got a shock when one of the girls e-mailed me back tonight. Im really excited, nervous and scared. She is absoloutly stunning and sounds a right good laugh. i haven't chatted anyone up or dated anyone in 7 odd years. im trying to be as normal as i can but its so wierd.

anyone had any good or bad expiereance with it?

im not under any kind of false pretence i know people lie and post pictures which are over flattering, but in stunning i meant what i see and what comes accross from her e-mail.
 
yes she does have one but i think it would be wrong to post it and i want to keep her to myself just now. probably won't even e-mail back but heck im just happy she e-mailed me in the first place.
 
Yeah, online dating took me to Brazil for 2 weeks which was pretty good. Then I ended up in Venezuela for 3 months living below the poverty line in some slum. It was a good experience though.

The only advice I can give is stay within your own country and avoid the international dating scene...lol
 
I know a guy who has sex with random chicks through online dating. Both parties consenting of course.

never tried it myself though as the wife wouldn't be too chuffed. ;)

i doubt my wife would be chuffed if I had sex with that guy either :eek:

Tried it once. Was married 6 months to the day after the first E-Mail.

So DON'T DO IT!! :D

Oh well at least it didn't kill you.
Years ago i would snipe women off Freeserve chat ( :o ) Was great for a while taking trips all over the country riding easy women.
The bonus is that when you are fed up with them its not convenient for them to drop in and hassle you.
I think anywhere is ok to snipe women/partners.
I did have a few scares though i must say. This was in the early days when webcams and digi cams weren't so readily available.
You have to remember that when a woman describes herself as Curvacious she really means she is built like a Wilderbeast. :eek:
I wouldn't even meet a woman that had sent me a picture these days it has to be a Live webcam feed and plenty of chat beforehand.
Having said that i don't use chatrooms or net dating at all and haven't for years.
It was just a phase i went through. :D

Nowadays i hang around in supermarkets carrying an overflowing basket looking bewildered holding a packet of something. Woman just cannot stop themselves helping then i help myself. :cool:
 
Honestly I don't see anything wrong with it at all, it's no more/less random than meeting somebody in Tesco's or in a club, I haven't actually tried it myself but I don't think I wouldn't and the social stigma is all but gone IMHO.

I would say you probably going to meet people that have been through the mill abit and I would guess that lots of the peoople on there are going to be slightly more mature in years. I'm now single again and the major problem is that lots of my mates that I would have gone drinking/clubbing etc. with are now married with kids or in a relationship.

You will obviously with meet a complete spectrum of girls, some bunny boilers and some will be nice, no different to normal really :)

I wouldnt advice online dating - most goods turned up not doing exactly what it says on the can- Go out and grab one instead.
