Online map with measure tool

Is there an online autoroute type thing where i can measure distance by drawing lines? I want to go for a run tonight and work out a way to go that i can manage.

(ideally with streets shows as lines with names, not photo type view)

Googlemaps allows you to drag the line around wherever you like, only thing I can think of that's like you might want.

there must be something reasonably simple that you dont have to register for. Would be no goo really just finding the distance from place to place as i want it for doing things like running around a park or through an alley way.

Autoroute does this fine with measure tool

cheers. that looks like the type of thing. how do you draw point with mouse when recording? it just seems to scroll around the map :confused:

Click record then double click where you want a point and click one to drag map around
