Only 17 races on 2012?

Agree with you. Bahrain and Korea won't be missed at all. The Austin track looks pretty good, so it will be a shame if it's not around next year. Although, from the reports I've seen Bernie is saying it'll be postponed until 2013 if the Austin management can't sort themselves out in time.

Yeah, the issue is organisation and not building. Although an even worse outcome would be to build the track and then not be able to organise any races on it.

Thanks Bernie. You've already messed up my 2012 by moving Austin away from 17 June so I can't do Montreal on 10 June beforehand. So I chose Austin in November and now you're talking about binning that too.

Shame about Korea as the track is a good laugh, but clearly sticking it in the middle of nowhere and not really getting the locals to come and play means it was doomed to fail.

Bahrain can shove it and should have gone years ago, pointless place to have F1 and a pointless, rubbish track.

Hope Austin sorts its self out as the DC thing there last weekend looked fun. Im guessing it'll get finished just in time like India *crosses fingers*. Just need a few more late afternoon/early evening races and less 5am ones as I don't like being up that early on a sunday....

Part of me says F1 could do with a poor season of track availability, maybe then Bernie will revise his fees to something a little less mental. I mean hats off the guy convincing companies/governments to part with so much cash but something has to give at some point.

Austin will go ahead as will korea.

Bahrain will be dropped, at least I hope it is.

I'm sure a few tracks could bid for a late slot at a reduced one year price.

I'm sure there will be twenty, unless it's left to the last minute about.

Realy hope Austin works out - would love to be at the first race there in 2012

Korea may not be missed when its gone - but Im SURE it will be raced at next year
