I recently built a PC and installed a 500gb and a 240gb SSD. Windows is on the main 500gb drive and i have only just noticed because its now starting to get full.

In device manager and the BIOS i can see the drive. However if i go to access it in My Computer only the 500 shows up.

I am a semi novice so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Search in start menu for "format" and you should see a "Create and format hard disk partitions" option, select that and see if you see a disk in there with roughly 240GB unallocated space. Once you find that you can make a new volume on it and assign a drive letter.

Ive done this and it says i need to initialise it. Do i use MBR master boot record or GPT GUID partition table?
