You might of been around since 2002 and but that doesn't make you a valid member :D, only Kidding I was lurking from June 2001 but didn't sign up till I needed help with my dissertation. Then it all went down hill.

Think i lurked before i joined too, i cant remember exactly.
 
I say, there's a lot of non-02 riff raff posting. Can something be done about this?

Next thing you know the peasants will want all the same perks, like private messaging.

I was number 22 originally (one of the pre-registered members) but a problem was found with my account sometime later that couldn't be fixed and that one got blatted and recreated.

We later discovered the problem with the account was simply that the email address had broken and it was causing the forums to hang up when anyone tried to reply to a thread that I'd subscribed to so all that was really needed was a change of email address, I didn't need the account deleting and recreating after all :(. This bug has since been ironed out of the forum software as well.
