Ah ok well that's better than any lanes running 4x.

I used to run my 5770s on 8x 8x and lost about 2% over full 16x lanes.

X8 X8 is plenty and you will just have to give them a little shove to take on the 690 :)
 
Just checked 2.0 no onboard*

*which was a part of the reason I bought it. It only uses 80w max due to not having the onboard. Well, that and the fact it was cheaper than a I5 2500 (non K) the same, only it has the I7 cache levels so it's kind of an I6.
 
Dear me this second card is a crap clocker.

I fitted it to test it yesterday (replacing my existing one for now) and I can't even get 100mhz out of it (boosting to 1180).

CBA clocking it now. Will just run them stock single vs SLI.

Wow that's pretty bad, unlucky! Loving that yellow MSI board too...
